Frequently Asked Questions How Do I Sign Up? Sign Up today You can sign up by clicking the "Sign up" button on all of our pages. Our message us on the Contact Page and a member of our team will email you. Do you need experience? No you do not need any experience. We have a class for all skill levels. What age groups do you offer? The majority of our classes start from 4 years old. We offer two classes from 3 years old these are Supersonics - Monday 5:00-6:00pm and our fortnightly Sunday Tumble class 9:00-10:00am. What do I need to bring to my session? You need to wear clothing you can comfortably move around in such as leggings and a t-shirt, trainers and hair tided back. We recommend bringing a refillable water bottle to ensure you stay hydrated throughout the session. Do you offer private/ one-to-one sessions? Contact us for more information Sign Up Today What Does Cheerleading Entail? STUNTS Stunts in cheerleading involve lifting and supporting a cheerleader in the air, often with one or more bases and a flyer. Stunts can range from simple two-person lifts to complex pyramids involving multiple cheerleaders. TUMBLES Tumbling involves a series of acrobatic moves such as cartwheels, walkovers, flips, twists, and handsprings. It requires strength, flexibility, and coordination and is often used in routines to add excitement and energy. DANCE Dance in a cheerleading routine comprises of synchronized movements and choreography that complement the stunts and rest of the routine. This involves a variety of motions that go to the counts of the music. JUMPS Jumps involve lifting your feet off the ground and performing different shapes in the air. OUR COACHES Sign Up Today SHANNON HEAD COACH Hey, I am Shannon Head Coach of SRR Elite Cheerleading. I started my cheerleading journey over 10 years ago, since then I have gained knowledge and experience competing and coaching at numerous different levels including competing at the Cheerleading World Championships in 2022. I set up SRR Elite to provide a fun, enjoyable class for everyone, while learning the fundamentals and skills of cheerleading to ensure I get the most out of all children. My classes are aimed at children ages 5 and up and of all abilities, whether you are a beginner or an experienced cheerleader, there is something for everything. FRANCESSCA COACH Hey, I'm Francessca (A.K.A Fran), I started my cheerleading journey in 2019 after I stopped gymnastics, since then I have competed in levels 1-4, learning new skills and techniques to be the best I can. I continued gymnastics coaching throughout this and loved every minute of it. Since recently gaining my coaching qualification in cheerleading I am now focused and helping children achieve skills and reach their goals. I am loving being apart of the SRR Elite Family. HELEN COACH Hi, I'm Helen, I first started off my coaching journey as a gymnastics coach, assisting children in gaining skills on all apparatus. I have watched my girls over the last 8 years compete both in gymnastics and cheerleading and I now coach cheerleading. I am excited to be taking on the role as SEND Leader, I will be here to support all children through their cheerleading journey, to enable them to have a positive and enjoyable experience! IZZY JUNIOR COACH Isla JUNIOR COACH Hi, I'm Izzy, I Hi I'm Isla, I am 16 years old. I started cheerleading when I was 6 years old, working my way up from level 1 to where I am now. This season, I am competing in U16 Level 4 and 5 division. I am so excited to be coaching for SRR Elite Cheerleading this season and can't wait to watch our teams on the competition mat. LAYLA JUNIOR COACH Hi, I'm Layla, I have only been coaching since December with SRR Elite Cheerleading and have loved every minute of it. I find myself learning new techniques to coaching and building my confidence each week helping children gain different skills. I wanted to start coaching as I love working with children and helping them in as many ways as I can, I have gained experience and knowledge teaching children different tumbles and cheerleading techniques. I cannot wait to continue my coaching journey with SRR Elite.
